"or slick quick guys like Kotelnik" . . . . . . . . . . . . . To the guy who said this. Kotelnik is anything but slick. Infact he is the opposite.

I watched the McCloskey-Prescott fight, and I saw Prescott struggle against a guy with no workrate, and no offense whatsoever, it was a close fight, and this was after he stated 'he would knock this guy out easy and khan would faint after watching it', yeah I am sure Khan is terrified after that devestating performance!

Telling it like it is? Prescott says Khan was rocked the first time he got his with a solid punch against maidana in the 10th round...Bull****. He got hit with bombs consistently through the fight, and that was the first time he was properly shook up. This guys spent all the build up to the fight talking about khan, that is ok, if you actually take care of business, but he didn't. I personally think he won that fight, but that hardly was a convincing enough performance to earn a title shot was it?? this guy has not had one meaningful win since khan, he still hasn't beaten anyone remotely approaching top 10 at135 or 140. Khan looked like crap against McCloskey but still won every second of the fight, he may prefer to avoid big punchers, but he has still fought the biggest puncher at 140!

Avoiding stylistic match ups is nothing new in boxing, every fighter and his team do it, including Maidana and Prescott. Khan can't fight a murderous puncher in every fight, but I am sure if it made sense risk/reward he would fight anyone. Peterson would kill Prescott...kill him! I honestly think Peterson has a good chance agaisnt Maidana too, he is a very good fighter on the inside and outside, and Maidana can't fight for **** on the inside. If Khan is fighting, and beating top contenders/champions, nothing else should matter, and I am sure he will continue to do that.

well said my bloke, well said. . .

i still don't see how the **** prescott generates so much damn attention? he's kinda funny sometimes, but it's even funnier because he can't do ****! and isn't worth a damn. . . a one hit wonder, the true definition thereof!

Khan is quality, but he doesn't want to be in with big punchers, he does prefer avoiding them if he has the chance. His chin is his biggest weakness and whilst it just about carried him through the Maidana fight there is no doubt he was looking like Bambi on stilts

if he avoids big punchers he stands a great chance at rising to the top, but his chin will check his ass every time his mouth gets carried away
you're right.. Khan is the biggest joke.. and he trains with the "special blend team" all i see him do is talk trash and duck big punchers

          1) the workrate thing- i bet prescott was more puffed laughing at the khan has one of the best chins thing that in the one minute their fight lasted.
also, mccloskey had a far worse workrate against khan and khan couldn't do anything with him except headbutt him

          2) shall we get prescott to headbutt a shot, blown up barrera then, that should surely get him a title shot, especially on the back of dominating oisin 'broken ankle' ***an

at the end of the day, what precott is doing is not as bad as what khan is. if its acceptable for khan to gabble on then surely it is for prescott.

Yet it's Khan who laughs all the way to the bank. Prescott's career is nearly finished...

People like you are a clear definition of a hater. First it was Khan would get out classed by the slick Paulie....then it was he will get murdered with his glass chin against Maidana....then he would get taken to school by the savy vet in Judah.....now its hes ducking all the big names. Give me a break...its same thing with the Floyd haters......after EVERY win....hes ducking this guy, and is scared to fight so and so. I dont like Floyd on a personal level, but respect his talent. Same with Khan. Khan is the future of boxing, and whenever you have a star on the rise, there are always people like you who just will never accept him no MATTER WHAT THEY DO OR WHO THEY BEAT. Khan is light years ahead of Maidana, who made the fight interesting with ONE lucky wild swing in the 10th. Up to then....it was a clinic. So go put up your Khan hater, and Pacroid posters up along with ANYTHING that apparently has to do with Pac and Roach, and enjoy being a fanboy and not a TRUE fan.

                1) Sarcasm (lowest form of wit, but I can play if you like?), do you want me to teach you the Queensbury rules, I can give you a lesson in one of the other forums if you like. Last time I checked Khan won every round against McCloskey, and the butt was clearly accidental. The big, bad prescott was getting backed up from early in the fight, and couldn't match McCloskey's workrate in the middle rounds, embarrassing.

                2) Kotelnik-Khan was Kotelnik's voluntary defence, he could have chosen any opponent he wanted, Khan beat a top 5 140lber in his first fight at the weight, thanks for pointing that out.

What is Khan doing exactly?? I am interested to hear this.

Prescott has a point, Amir will duck and dodge his arse and any big puncher in favour of bigger and slower punch bags.

So Khan has to fight only big punchers to prove that his fame isn't only based on boxing skill? that right, haters? Lol

I mean, anyone can box. It takes a real champion to go in there and take savage beatings, that even if you win, cut your career in half and leave you with a nice healthy parkinson's disease for the rest of your life lmfao

Come on Khan!!! Take the permanent brain damage like a man. That's the only way to prove your P4P material!! HA!!
