The RING Mag is now a bull****t mag, cause Oscar owns it and twists statements around.

after all, Hops is Oscar's friend, and just like oscar "pulled strings" for Mosley to avoid PED detection in the Margo fight, by having the fight moved from vegas to CA, Oscar will pull string for Hops by giving away tickets, then lie and say that they sold:wank: tickets.

today's figters and promoters have set a standard, that anyone that does over 1 million PPV buys is good, under 1 million is "bad".

Julioo Cesar Chavez vs. Oscar DelaHoya (1996).

Closed Circuit PPV buys were astronomical.
It sold-out many theaters, that they had to open newer ones a week before the fight.

Steve Kim is not an official source so try again.Plus Steve Kim is a known Floyd hater and claimed the Floyd/Ortiz fight was doing terribly in ticket sales.

most black boxers usually can't sell because they fight a defensive style.

the only black boxers that sell are guys with an offensive style like tyson and holyfield. Even though Ali fought defensively at times, he always let his hands go and threw punches.
