Mayweather: The most critiqued boxer of all-time???

Has there ever been aboxer that is more critiqued, or held to as a high a standard as Floyd Mayweather Jr??? The guy gets hit with one big shot from Mosley, takes a couple punches from Ortiz, and people act like the sky has fallen. The way people make it sound with the whole "Ortiz was catching Mayweather!"...you would quickly forget that Mayweather clearly won 3 of 4 rounds, out landed Ortiz 73-26 in total punches through 4 rounds, landed at a 17% higher rate, landed straight right hands at will, and was in total control of the fight.

Have you ever seen a boxer as critiqued or held to as high a standard of excellence as Floyd Mayweather???

Oh, no. Not at all. Here's the problem Corners, he doesn't fight the best yet he claims he is the best. That there is the problem in a nutshell. That's why he gets the deserved criticism he gets. The media and boxing world have exposed his resume and his ducking of the best opposition out there.

Yes, Pac suprise suprise. Pac dominates SSM making him touch gloves every few seconds and hardly takes a punch, and people say it was a poor performance by Pac standards.

He destroys Margarito who was 18lbs heavier and people criticise Pac for fighting him, and should fight Sergio instead. People dont hold Floyd in the esteem of Pac. People are just happy if Floyd actually fights.

I could careless what Michael Wilbon and people on ESPN say. That's a joke in itself.

So...Floyd refused to fight the best, you're clearly referring to Margarito and Cotto right???

Well...than didn't Pac clearly avoid fighting the best, when he didn't fight Mosley in 2009 or 2010, or Berto in 2010, or Ortiz in 2011??? He had oppurtunities to fight them right??? When Mayweather fought Mosley, he had just KO'd Margarito, and was seen as the 3rd or 4th best WW in the world behind Mayweather-Pacquiao-and maybe Berto. When Floyd fought Ortiz, Victor had just beaten Berto, and was recognized as the 2nd best WW in the world right (with Mayweather being inactive and all)???

What has Pac done the past 3 years, because NO ONE places him higher than Floyd prior to 2009, to become better than Floyd??? Beat Hatton and Cotto??? Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, and Marquez were all crap picks for Pac, you know it. Considering those fighters and what happened going into the fights, they were TERRIBLE. I will say I disliked the Mayweather pick of Marquez, but you can't knock that since Pac is doing the EXACT SAME THING, only know Marquez isn't even looked at as a good fighter all that much anymore. Pac will KO him in 6-7 rounds at this point. You hated the Mayweather pick of Mosley...Shane had just KO'd Margarito, was the WBA Champ, and was seen as the 3rd best WW in the world behind FLoyd and Manny. How was Mosley viewed when Pac fought him??? A guy who had just bee dominated by Floyd and fought a draw with a crappy Mora. You hated the Ortiz pick??? Ortiz was seen as the 2nd best WW in the world Pac, after dethroning Berto. Ortiz is 24 in his prime, I have no doubt you would have praised Pac all day long if he had chosen to fight Ortiz when Mayweather did.

I hate the fact that Floyd has only fought 3 times in 4 years, but the only pick I was upset about what Marquez, which Pac is doing RIGHT NOW 2 years later. I wasn't upset about Pac picking Cotto (even though he had just been KO'd by Margarito), and I wasn't that upset about him picking Hatton (even though he'd been KO'd by Floyd and looked awful against Lazcano and Malignaggi). De La Hoya, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez in 2011...ALL awful picks, wouldn't you agree???

yeah I agree. Pacquiao is much more criticized than Mayweather.

And I believe the 'Mosely' in your sig is mispelled.
