Floyd is always aggressive against southpaws.
Will Mayweather be walking Pacquiao down?

I hear what Floyd can't do against Manny but...
Manny can't fight going backwards... Cotto backed him up in the early rounds... Marquez backed him up after the first round in the first fight and in the second fight...
Manny can not get off AT ALL going backwards... Does not throw a single punch off of his back foot (prove me wrong if I missed something)... So if Floyd were to walk him down, he wouldn't be at risk at all because Manny would have to wait until Floyd stopped moving forward...
In addition, Manny can't fight inside... He clinches just like Floyd when fighters crowd him... He did it against Cotto whenever they came close together in the middle of the ring... Floyd has proven (to the dismay of opposing trainers and fans of other fighters) that he has elbows, shoulders, and forearms to help set up punches on the inside... He fought N'dou in the pocket, Hatton, Gatti... Many fighters...
Manny hasn't shown that he can take a left hook to the body (similar to the one that Judah took in the 4th round before he suddenly "got tired" and similar to the one that Gatti took in the midst of taking straight rights and left hooks wherever Floyd placed them)...
Now Manny looks to be really strong and well conditioned at the end of every fight BUT we haven't seen a sustained attack to the body. I saw Cotto land a few that Manny didn't like... Whenever the kid gets hurt, he raises his hands in the air and makes it obvious...
So my question is, if Floyd does walk Manny down and hits him with well-timed left hooks and straight rights, what will Manny do to counter?
Or if Floyd stands right in front of him and doesn't give him the spacing he needs to jump in and out with that mean left hand, what is Manny going to do?
Manny's bread and butter is once he catches a fighter with a good shot, they get scared and start to back up the rest of the fight... Who was the exception? JMM and we see how Pac looked less immortal in those fights...Comment

It's frustrating talking about this seeing how this fight is never seemingly close to happening, but I don't think Floyd would take that approach at first. But as the fight wears on, I could see Floyd being increasingly on the front foot.Comment
