Comments Thread For: McGuigan: Haye's Whole Career Has Been Full of Bluff

Barry McGuigan believes former world heavyweight champion David Haye would be wrong to step away from boxing. Haye, 31 on Thursday, informed the British Boxing Board of Control he did not want to renew his license. Haye's last fight was a defeat by Wladimir Klitschko in July when he lost his WBA world title by an unamimous points decision in Hamburg.

Haye is acting like a Prima Donna, if his next fight is not against Vitali for big bucks he is not fighting. He had an ugly loss to Wlad where he only looked to survive in the whole fight and brings in that broken toe story.

He should just go away. Its amazing how is loud mouth has contributed to his career

Good Riddance. Haye's been bad for boxing in this country. His career as a heavyweight has been a fraud from the get-go; he ran from Valuev, John Ruiz was past it (not that he was ever much) and Fraudley Harrison - say no more. Haye knows there are genuine fights out there if he doesn't want the Klitschko's: Povetkin, Solis, Chagaev.. going on like he was above these guys..? Fraud

Possibly one of the greatest heavyweights in the history of the sport, Haye needs to put the severe leg injury behind him which he experienced against Wladimir and redeem himself by claiming vitali's scalp. He almost KO'd wlad in the last round of the fight.. surely the slow, ponderous vitali will succumb to haye's speed and power and may end up kissing the canvas in this one.

          green k appreciated.
