Worst Boxing Main Event to ever be on US PPV

By that i mean two fighters who should be absolutely NOWHERE NEAR a PPV card.

I dont mean which fight was a stinker and not worth the PPV money. I mean a main event which before the fight you thought ''WHO THE **** would pay PPV for this??!''

A recent one that springs to mind is Hopkins-Jones 2

What's-his-name vs what's-his-face fighting in that city whatchamacallit. That's how bad it was--- It was completely forgettable.

Any Hopkins fight degenerates to fouls and acting, only his trinidad fight was worth watching although I've seen many of them. Jones and Hopkins was pretty bad, and Hopkins-Calzaghe was only watchable because of Calzaghe.

That fight was nowhere near as bad as the Rahman-Barrett fight that was for the interim title after Vitali was injured.

I am convinced Don King paid Monte Barrett not to fight back, at least the Maskaev fight had a final round KO.

At least both were KO punchers, especially Maskaev. What could be worse than Haye-Valuev?

Roy Jones Jr vs Bernard Hopkins II, it was so bad that they replayed the fight next day on Comedy Central.

Maskaev vs Rahman 2 is the worst HBO PPV from recent years.

I disagree - I loved the main event.

It was worth every cent and more.
