Would fighters like Ortiz and Dawson be better served fighting orthodox?

    Would fighters like Ortiz and Dawson be better served fighting orthodox?

    Both are naturally right handed yet fight southpaw,but niether have a great jab nor and powerful back hand, Do you think they may be better served fighting Orthodox?

    I think it would have served them better. As well as help them establish better balance. But They've been fighting southpaw for so long now it would more than likely hurt them more than help them at this point to make the switch.

      It would help Chad out. I think he would be a better fighter but I don't think it would help Ortiz out to much. Ortiz has power in both hands and I think could still be a good south paw. He just needs to work with a better trainer.

        Thanks man,i see you have a Jack Johnson avy, thats real nice.I agree it's a bit late to change styles now,just wondering how different their careers may have gone.
