    I think he would be. But he has higher aspirations than being a trainer. I would love to see it though.

      Yeah I think he does have higher aspirations than being a trainer but I still think he will never stop doing anything Boxing related. Bernard Hopkins is to addicted to Boxing to leave it all together.

            Although being a great fighter doesn't always mean being a great or even good trainer for that matter, Hopkins has a great mind and his IQ for the sport is tremendous.

            He certainly has the tools to be a great trainer. Whether he wants to be a trainer or not is unknown to me though.

                no doubt. I just think he wants to be more on the business side of boxing than being to hands on. Who knows maybe he wont be able to resist after a couple years of retirement. I see him more as a promoter/manager guy though, I have a feeling he'll start his own **** and leave golden boy at some point.

                    i think he is the type who could build young fighters from the ground up and turn them into great ones. he's a smart guy.
