Assuming Hopkins beats Dawson, and Toney beats Lebedev, I think this is one fight boxing fans may still wanna to see, I know the huge differences in weight and their advance age, but let's face it, Hopkins doesnt have to prove himself anymore taking on younger guys as he is already an all-time great.

Don't see any problem for Bernard not to agree on this, as at one time, Hopkins want to even fight Oleg Maskaev for the heavyweight title.

Not too many exciting match ups in boxing nowadays, I'd like to see two old schools slug it out.

Even if they both lose I would love to see them end their careers by fighting each other.

Toney is already shot completely to pieces, and anyway, what weight are you talking about? He's going to struggle to make Cruiserweight. We've all heard the stories about Toney being in shape then fight night he shows up 20 pounds north of what they say he was.

Are you asking Hopkins to move up to Cruiser/Heavyweight to fight, or Toney to move down?

Most likely Hopkins will have to fight at 190-200lbs or at the Cruiserweight limit, I also dont think Toney can dropped as low as that weight, maybe a similar situation like when Roy Jones fought at the HW and was outweighted by Ruiz by about 30 pounds.

If he can get by Dawson, I'd eventually like to see B-Hop at Cruiser.

I'd rather see Toney-Tarver at cruiserweight if Toney wins..and that's a huge IF.

Should be interesting to see if Toney can make the weight. I still dont think he can.

Toney was 237 at UFC 118 and 257 in his last fight in February.

                exactly what I was thinking.

If hopkins wins, I'd like to see him retire on top with the belts, or somehow get bute or the super six winner. That's basically it.

I actually think Ward-Hopkins would be an excellent fight.

I don't care. I would just like to see Hopkins keep trucking away, one win at a time.

If it means just defending his Titles against the average contender, so be it. I would love to see him beat Zolte Erdei or unify with the other 175 Title holders.

I agree that he doesn't have to keep proving himself against young hotshots who are calling him out.
