Dawson is about the most timid fighter Hopkins will ever face.
Pre-Pascal, Dawson showed his mental and physical toughness on more than one occasion... watch the Adamek fight, Dawson was put down then had Adamek walking him down for the last two rounds, he wasn't throwing the jab but was happy to invite the pressure then trade or counter with big shots
If he'd done the same in the Pascal fight he would've taken it.

Dawson's got this. He's proven his mettle against other fighters, Tarver (x2), Johnson (x2), Adamak...this fight is something that he's wanted for years I thnk he has the athletic ability, technical ability, and drive to win this fight.

Hopkins is great, but this fight isn't a good pick at this stage of his career.

Just off of the strength that Dawson is not 100% focused makes me lean towards Hopkins more. You can't sleep on Hopkins at no time.

I don't think Chad will have any mental lapses in this fight because B-Hop will force him to keep thinking and adjusting his fight plan. B-hop is a master at taking away his opponents best weapon so Chad won't have time to get lackadaisical. Chad by UD.
