His fights at welter have not been entertaining and he can't move like he used to, but he didn't lose a single round to Cottos brother and probably won't to this Lara cat either.

Shame Berto got to Zavec before Paulie. I don't think Paulie is exactly world class at welter, but wish him the best.

Orlando Lora (#157 boxrec) is a great way to earn a shot at the Welterweight title!

I have a question for you experienced boxers. Do you think Paulie would have decent power if his hands weren't so brittle? Or is it because he's an arm puncher?

When the hell has Paulie Malignaggi ever dominated anybody???
The guy has no power. He couldn't beat the best at 140 he sure as hell is not going to do anything at Welter Weight!! He will never be champion at 147! No way can he beat Mayweather, Pacquiao , Victor Ortiz , Or Andre Berto !

if paulie gets past lora, which i'm hoping he does, i hope he gets a crack at another title. there's berto and senchenko for him, i'd love to see either fight. he can even try getting the ibo strap from heerden although i don't it'd be much of an accomplishment in his eyes.
there's other good fights and challenges for him though if a title shot doesn't happen. alexander, karass, kamegai, julio, or the collazo/hernandez winner. paulie's got lots of good options if he gets past lora.
