How is Dawsons style supposedly a "nightmare" 4 Bhop?

If Dawson fights a similar style to the way he fought Johnson the second time, it would be a very tough fight for Hopkins. That type of style would make the older man use his legs.

I'm not getting it either. For 1 he's not going to outbox B-Hop and 2 he doesn't work enough a la Taylor or Joe. He has some attributes like skill size and speed things B-Hop have seen before. If the momentum goes against Bernard he has the will to dig deep and change it cant say the same for Dawson. I see it going where Dawson comes out and sets the pace but momentum swings B-Hops way and lead right hands keeps it that way.

Dawson has most of the advantages you want to have in a prize fight and the more athletic guy. Now if he was a guy that was seek and destroy or relied on hurting his opponent he would still have issues but that isn't Dawson who is often content to take what is given him.

Just taking the low hanging fruit will make it very hard for B-Hop who wants guys to press him.

B-Hop can certainly make it ugly but it is going to be tough for him to overcome what Dawson represents as long as Dawson stays true to what he is, if he gets greedy or loses his cool and really attacks B-Hop with abandon then he could have issues but I haven't seen anything that shows Dawson is going to be anything but himself.

Most people get on him about his cool demeanor, but I think that really aides him against a guy like Hopkins who wants more aggression.

What if B-Hop moves. After all he is a student, watches tapes, and the one with the Higher Ring IQ.

What if he applies the same style that he did against Tarver? Moving backwards, using the Jab as a range finder, sticking Dawson with the right here and there, and making Dawson cover up and be the one coming forward.

Which is what I'm betting on. They saw what Pascal did to him with a little footwork. Pascal moved around the ring,and Dawson just covered up and looked like ****.

Pascal did more than move, he ran around the ring like a track star. Not an excuse, but it's not like Pascal dominated Dawson and was beating his ass. I know Hopkins certainly won't be fighting that way.

Speed, movement, athleticism. Plus hes a big guy. Dawson has all the physical tools to win this.

Why do peope think Dawson is not gonna press Bhop? He's not fighting Glen Johnson, he's fighting a cagey veteran with good footwork, head movement and timing.
