Well first of DiBella tried to get Geale as an opponent but Geale turned it down.

Geale wanted to make his defense in Australia he sure as hell didn't turn that down

I feel bad for Martinez, all he has as options at MW is fighters from outside the US who are unknowns.

Daniel Geale is an decent, B-level middleweight who won his title by CLOSE DECISION over another decent, B-level middleweight, Sebastian Sylvester.

Sylvester was then impressively destroyed in his next fight by a TALENTED middleweight, namely Grzegorz Proksa.

Geale is not on the same level as Martinez, Pirog, Golovkin, and Proksa. In fact, he'd likely lose to Quillen and the talented but erratic N'Jikam.

Geale, Lee, Zbik, McEwen, Sylvester, Barker, Chavez and Macklin are all on about the same level - decent, but not quite world class.

lol what? Martinez tried to get a fight with him, but he wanted a defense at home first, which was obviously too close to Sergio's October date. They also tried to fight Sturm, who apparently wasn't very interested either.
