The WBA and their joke belts. Please answer me this...

Wlad wins the WBA champion's title by beating Haye. Well done, Wlad. The WBA respond by 'elevating' him to Super Champion (because he's unified, not because they see an opportunity at an extra sanctioning fee, you understand). They then let Povetkin fight for the now-called, 'regular' belt. that's 'regular' as in, 'made up' belt.

So what happens if Wlad beats Povetkin? Will he become Super Regular Champion? or Super, Super Champion? Or back to Regular Champion?

Same with Khan and Maidana. Maidana loses to the champ (Khan) then somehow becomes Regular Champ when Khan unifies, because he beat Morales for an Interim title. Was Morales the #1 or #2 challenger to the WBA belt? Hell no! It doesn't matter, it's all part of the WBA gravy train.

So...

If Khan beats Maidana (again), will he become the Super, Super Champion? Or does he get some new bs title like Ultra Champion? How about Ultra Super Regular Champion? Or Mega Champion?

Anyone know?

WBA is not alone in this.

As Lewis recently said, they should put all of the belts into the trash can. The people, the fans know who the real champion is and who should be fighting who.

Maybe it's actually a good thing they continue to create more and more belts. They discredit themselves, they make a joke out of themselves, and it isn't going unoticed among the boxing public. The more there are belts, the less they have value. Maybe they are marching towards their own destruction. which would ultimately be great.
