    The Tye Fields Question

Heavyweight Contender Tye Fields has a record of 35-1 (32 KO's)
with 23 Knockouts in Round 1, 6 Knockouts in Round 2, and 3 Knockouts in Round 3, 3 Decisions.

He has only 1 loss to Jeff Ford, and he gave him a rematch and won by KO in Round 1.

His most recent win was against Former Heavyweight Champion Bruce Seldon which he won by KO in Round 2.

I think he can be a champion and take on the TOP 10 Contenders...

    His Height: 6' 9½
    His Age: 30

... If he fights 4 more times to top 30 Contenders and wins like he won to Seldon i think he has a shot to Vitali, Byrd...

    ...He is a Southpaw too.

I've only heard horrible things about him. I think Valuev is the better giant.

he will get beaten by every single top 20 fighter he faces, he is plain horrible. he makes mcbride look like ali.

he has a weak chin, brutal defense and his offense is shakey at best.

Fields is a big guy, aswell as a nice guy. But he is extremely limited in the skill department.

Knocking over a Seldon looks good on the resume but how active has Seldon been in the last 2 years and how good was Seldon even when he was prime.

I would like Fields to do well, it would be good for the Detroit boxing scene. But quite honestly, I dont see it happening.
