How would the Nuff Tumper fare in the mix?

I never like the way Europeans seem to get a "one shot only" attempt at the upper levels, because it always makes me curious as to how they would compare with their peers.

Like Danny Williams is good enough to beat down an old Mike Tyson but not good enough to pose Big Klit a serious problem on the night... yet what about in between? How would Danny do against Rahman (who took four rounds to dispose of Kali Meehan as opposed to Danny's 36 seconds) or Larry Donald? It piques my curiousity.

So I ask... how would the Nuff Tumper do in the mix against the likes of Sturm, Wright and DLH? Would he be able to take and dish nuff tump to dispatch Tito?

Look at Eastman's resume... he's just gone the distance with Hopkins. Now, due to factors including his own ******ity, laziness and Hopkins's unwillingness to get involved in anything approaching a fight, he wasn't in the bout. But he took Hopkins the distance and had him a willing back-footer all night. That's more than Oscar did. And thanks to his chin he was never seriously hurt like Taylor was... and Taylor got the decision.

Then there was Eastman vs. Joppy. Again, he was a lazy sod for the first half, but started putting on a show and even dropped Joppy. It was the opinion of the crowd (who had warmed to Howard that night over the course of the bout and booed Joppy in the last) that The Nuff Tumper was robbed.

So... would you like to see the Nuff Tumper in the mix? And would he manage to beat some of the top tier guys?

2 loses in a row right? Pretty difficult to bounce back from 2 defeats. Not especially when ta middleweight division right now is packed wit great skills and styles. Maybe he can succeed in fightin Hop's, or Tayler's left ovas, but otha than that, I don't think he can be champ again.

I don't really expect to see him be champ (he's too lazy) but I just wonder how he would fare in the mix, just battling a few of the top 10 boys.

Yeah, I'd like to see Howard get back in the mix. I'm not one of his fans but I never liked when a fighters fans suddenly stopped singing his praises.

I would have to see any recent fight of his before making any real judgement. The last I seen of him was against Hopkins and he didn't look all that great in my opinion.

                  That is exactly the problem.

He can crack. There is no dis*****g that.

His only demise is his opponents realize that, and stay out of harms way. If he developed his footwork and gained some speed I dont see why he would not be a threat.

Untill then he remains a monolith, and nobody will stand and trade with him.

This brings out the question of whether it matters how high up he goes. When I see him at European level he goes through 'em like a dose of salts. As long as he entertains, does it matter?

I don't think he'll get another shot anyway. Arthur Abrhams just beat him on points so that's ****ed him up.
