Damn, I can't believe the amount of haters on that site. It's clear that some of you were not watching boxing at that time. That fight was huuuuuge. Hatton was undefeated, a looooooot of people tought Hatton had a chance. It took a lot of balls to fight a prime undefeated Hatton who was really confident.

That fight had more casuals talking about it than any Pacquiao or Mayweather fight since. I made a killing making bets with people at the pub who thought Hatton was going to win.

could have been a classic pressure fighter, versus boxer in the same mould as a Duran and SRL fight. But the ref ruined it.
Thats why the fight is forgettable. The chance for Floyd to show how he can do against a proper pressure fighter and he chickened out by asking the ref to protect him from hattons dirty tactics.
