    Thoughts on Duran.

I just watched a couple of his fights and I have to say he is really overrated. He was also really dirty, I mean dude threw elbows and low blows intentionally. I honestly thought he would have be better considering how much hype he gets. I think that both Mayweather and Pacquiao would have beat him. He also was no where near as fast as I thought he would be considering he started at 135.

watch his entire career not "a couple of fights" then talk. Until then nobody cares what your uneducated opinion is.

And btw I can sell you his career set for fantastic price of $45.99. If not STFU

I watched his fight with Buchanan, SRL, Tommy Hearns, Iran Barkley. What fight should I watch that demonstrate his skills, and not his rough house tactics?

          Which Leonard fight?

Hearns and Barkley were both when Duran was way past his prime. Buchanan was a really good fighter, and Duran beat him, so I don't see how that proves he was overrated, if you can't see the skills in that fight I don't know what to tell you.

Probably the best light weight ever, and out of the fights you have seen only 1 was at 135lbs I believe.

the first SRL obviously. SRL is one of the greatest fighters of all time and Duran was the first to do so and that was above his best weight of course. That certainly should tell you something.

Now I don't really care if you think floyd and/or pac beats him, just saying, his ATG status can't be argued. He was a great fighter.

He won the fight with repeated low blows. I watched both the fights with SRL. I think that SRL had an off night that night to be honest. I was really thought that I was gonna be blown away with how much people talk about him. I'm not trying to downgrade any of his accomplishments, I just kinda expected to be in awe of his skills. When I look at the Mayweather Gatti fight I am blown away, when I look at Paquiao fights in the last few years I am blown away (except for the fight with Mosley, and Clottey) Maybe I just built him up to high in my head.

the leonard fight demonstrated his skills pretty damn well, i love the fienting left hook only to throw a left uppercut

leonard fell for it and got caught picture perfect

I agree completely with you he cemented his legacy. I just feel like a lot of people tend to over hype past fighters as being unbeatable by any of today's fighters.
