Comments Thread For: Nonito Donaire Would Love To Knock Narvaez Out

WBC/WBO bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire (26-1,18 KO’s) says a knockout over undefeated WBO two-division world champion Omar Andres Narvaez (35-0-2, 19 KO’s) in their clash in the Wa Mu Theater at Madison Square Garden, New York on October 22 (23 in Manila) will be most satisfying.

After this fight, Nonito should move to Super Bantamweight. He's big enough to even move up to featherweight, and a fight between him and Gary Russell Jr would be great even though Russell is a bit too green.

of course he's going to get the KO because Narvaez is a blown up flyweight.

yeah he holds a title at bantamweight but we all know the titles are basically worthless, just look at Chavez jr.

I think he should have faced Moreno instead but Arum offered him chump change and said he priced himself out. typical Top Rank bull****.

Nonito is great it's just too bad he's with Top Rank

Of course Donaire is strong enough to KO little Narvaez, especially with the PEDs he gets from the previously-convicted Victor Conte.

I'm hoping by some miracle Omar manages to win, but even if he can evade Donaire's PED-enhanced big punches, he won't receive fair judging on a Top Rank card.

he is draining himself from 145 to fight at 118 !!!

if he doesnt destroy him it will be a disappointment

Dang, where'd you here that? I mean, he rehydrates to high 120's... and he was outweighted by montiel on fight night too.

Would be shocked if this goes the distance. Narvaez is a great flyweight boxer, but Donaire is younger, bigger, stronger, has a tremendous punch and pound-4-pound skills. IMO Narvaez beats anybody at 112, but Donaire gets the KO at 118

Narvaez don't belong in that division. He is way too small for that division and Nonito is way too big.

Narvaez is a great boxer but Nonito will get the KO.

Donaire vs Jorge Arce would be a hell of a fight! I would love to see that next year.
