Yes I agree with you, he is regarded as a very nice guy. And he has or had loads of talent, a great boxing brain. I remember tht Senior always brought him into the ring when he fought.

I saw him lose to Jesse "James" leija, when he obviously turned up untrained and expecting an easy win. Although it was called an NC to me it was a loss. Then again with Omaw Weiss, about 10 lbs overqweight and certainly not prepared. No once could figure what was happeing to him then to make him behave like that.

Then he began to just put on flab, more and more until within a short while instead of a brilliant 140 lber we had a "picking up a cheque" 165 lber. The biggest example of wasting his talent-Along with Emanuel Augustus. No one knew even if he had a trainer or trained himself.

I recall, when Paulie Malignaggi was speaking on boxing, and was asked derisively about something Camacho said, he surpised everyone by replying that anything Camacho says he has a high respect for, because he knows boxing inside and out.

He had loads of talent. But he preferred the easy way to the tough way. He hardly trained, just went through the motions. If he ever get's his act together properly he could surprise you.

Isn't Jr working with Mayweather Sr? I thought that I read that some where.
