BoxingScene.com has beend advised that a battle of unbeaten lightweight prospects is being discussed for a date in February 2012. If a deal gets reached, Cuba's Rances Barthelemy (13-0, 10KOs) will take on Hylon Williams Jr. (14-0, 3KOs). I like that fight... Barthelemy reminds me a bit of the late Diego Corrales in that he's very lanky for that weight class but can really punch. He has really put a beating on a few cats

Hylon spars out here in Vegas, sometimes at The H.I.T. Factory Gym, where Judah trains, and he might not have power but he has nice skills...

Good matchup, dunno who to pick... I think I heard that Barthelemy is no longer working with Orlando Cuellar and might be with Miguel Diaz now though...

Tough to find good footage on this kid, Rances. His record seems to indicate good power. The little footage I was able to find on Youtube didn't show me enough to form a personal opinion. His older brother, Yan, a Cuban gold medallist, has been a major disappointment so far. It'll be great to finally get a good look at the younger Barthelemy on ESPN.
