to answer ur question, the fighter with the best defense today is winky wright.

best defense of all time: Sweet Pea Pernell Whitaker
What you talking about? Hatton does that exact basic thing, except to the body more. It'd be the exact same result. Except Hatton can probably take Mayweather's punches better than N'Dou, I would hope he can.

James Toney defines defence. Its his game. He wants you to come at him and throw punches. For him, the more the better, he makes you pay for going at him. He is at his best fighting at a defensive posture.

To me, Roy Jones was THE definition of defense. Mayweather, Toney, Pernell all got hit in the arms, shoulders, but when Roy was in his prime he NEVER got hit. His defence and his reflexes were extraordinarily good.

Winky rarely gets hit flush....he has great defense he should be helping Lacy out with that.

Against a guy his size, and a good body puncher I think he could lose. Karmazin could beat Winky I reckon.

Mosley and Trinidad both lacked a plan to take out Winky. Mosley put in a good 2nd effort but Mosley isn't the bodypuncher and the boxer that he used to be.

Yeah he could be beat by someone with a real good body attacking plan but not by Karmazin......He does not move well enough and Ouma should try to avange that loss I think he can beat him if he fought like he usually does...rumor has it Ouma had the flu during that fight and he did look bad.

Karmazin is a very awkward fighter and he has a well balanced attacking plan when he fights. I think he could cause Winky problems he is the most underated fighter. There was a reason why DLH never fought him at 154, instead he chose to fight Vargas, when Karmazin was the mandatory.

I'm glad Karmazin finally got his due, if he rematches and beats Ouma handily like He did before, he should definetly fight Winky.

Ouma was definetly not himself that fight, he wasn't throwing his normal 100 punches a round like before so something must of been wrong. Apparently he had the flu which is fair.
