Cloud has almost no following in the United States. A fight with Jean Pascal in either Montreal or Quebec city would have guaranteed anywhere between 8000 to 14 000 people. Groupe Yvon Michel offered Cloud and Don King a great deal in which they received 50% of the gate and 50% of the HBO money as was mentioned earlier. The talks broke down because Don King wanted options on Pascal if he won. King wasn't too confident in his fighter. I agree with Yvon Michel and Pascal for not agreeing to this deal. Pascal has been with Michel since his early pro fights and Don King doesn't deserve to have his hand in the pie $

This dude got outboxed by Yusaf Mack before finally getting the stoppage. And Mack is by no means a special fighter. Cloud would get beaten by Hopkins, Dawson, and Pascal fairly easily. He can have good fights with Diaconu, Edison Miranda, and some of the 168 pound losers like Kessler and Froch[soon to be a loser]. He could also have a good fight with Pavlik. But Cloud seemed to have been outboxed pretty easily by Mack before he caught him in the corner.

cloud was in control of that fight all along, hes gameplan was to apply steady pressure and wear mack down. let mack score point all he wants, cloud was there to break him down and knock him out. and he did. points wise all he needed to do was make sure he didnt fall too far behind incase he didnt get the KO, he didnt fall far behind and got the KO. perfect fight.

I agree he went in for one purpose and it was a KO. It came at a bigger price than he expected though. He's tough for all LHW's. He crushes Chad I think. I'd like to to see him fight Dirrell personally.

1- Yvon Michel said that during the "twitter war" between Pascal and Cloud. And after that comment from Michel, Cloud didn't answer... And you'll notice that even afterward, Cloud never said it wasn't true. All he said is that they didn't offer him enough money, but never said what was actually offered or that what Michel said wasn't true.

3- You need to see the contract to believe it? Have you ever seen a contract? You are basically asking to see something that is never shown to the public. If you need that kind of proof to believe, then I guess you never believe anything a fighter or promoter says...

What I'm saying is I'm not buying Yvon Michel word on twitter. I don't care if Cloud never responded to whatever he said who knows if Cloud even knew what any of the figures are, he's not the manager, he doesn't go over numbers, that's for his team to do.

So yeah, I'm very skeptical of Yvon Michel offering Cloud 50/50 of everything.
