As of right now I would say Froch who has been on the world class level for some time & while Bute has gone undifeated, 1 of his wins could have easily been a loss & he has yet to fight on the world class level. So my pick has to be the tried & true Carl the cobra Froch

That's a good point, it all depends how good Bute looks though against Johnson who gave Froch a very good fight.

I made a thread on Ea5tsid3boxing forum about 7 months ago:

Just Type: Bute vs Froch Poll + Video on google and it should show up.

Yes Johnson is a stern test for any fighter knocking on the door of world class. If I'm not mistaken Johnson was one of the chief players in helping with Bute's conditioning problems, he owes him a lot. I guess this money fight is a good way to repay him.

I would favour Froch simply because Bute has never fought anyone of his calibre, in fact looking at his resume I struggle to see anyone of any real note I think its quite realistic to say that Glen Johnson will be Butes toughest opponent to date him being so over protected for so long i mean the guys 31 it will only hurt his chances when he comes up against a fighter of Frochs calibre.

Am I the only one who thinks the road warrior has a shout? Bute is known to be chinny.

You are not the only 1. I almost always pull for the underdog even if they probably has no chance, but this time pulling for the underdog isn't that bad of a bet. It's like Tarver said, you have to bring your A game ****ing with Johnson or he'll run you right out of the ring.

I'd like to see how Bute handles Glen first, but at this stage I'd go with Bute.

Even though Froch is probably my favourite fighter I think Bute wipes out the entire SMW division
