Comments Thread For: Brook on Amir Khan: Doesn't Want Me, But Still Possible

On Saturday night, welterweight Kell Brook made a statement with a stylish victory over Rafal Jackiewicz. Brook dominated in front of his home fans at Sheffield's Ponds Forge Arena, outclassing his wily opponent and ending the fight in the sixth round. It was the first time the 34-year-old has been stopped in his 49-bout career.

at the moment khan is fighting at 140 and brook brings nothing to the table, both need to win a title at 147 and then fight each other, theyve got plenty of time left to fight, both are still young.

brook needs to fight someone good at 147,berto,jones,ortiz,baily,soto karass

If it were only that simple. But there are a surprising many that think Khan is the best welterweight right now not named Floyd & Manny,(which is entirely unfair) being that Brook has been a welterweight & Khan has never even fought there. I too believe that Brook should indeed fight one of those guys that you mentioned, but I also believe that when Khan finally arrives, he too must fight one of them,Hatton is unacceptible IMO.

Brook will expose Khan again thats why they dont want to know about Brook, he and his fans would much rather seem him in a easy fight. and dont say Brook aint a draw or well known, was Mcloskey well known or even Maidana for that matter, Khans only intrested inb fighting washed up shot boxers look at his record literaly from his first pro fight to the Judah fight its full to the brim of them.

            Kell brooks resume vs khans

            Kell brook

Rafal jackawicz, Micheal Jennings, Michael lomax, S. Mbaye

            Amir khan

Kotelnik, Barrera, maidana, Judah, mccloskey, Malignaggi

I think any layman can see khan has clearly achieved alot more than brook in terms of progressing at a faster rate as well as fighting real world class opposition. Brook can't draw flies round **** hence no-one will fight him. He's no threat to the elite fighters or contenders like mike jones or Randall Bailey. He's doing what junior witter did with Ricky hatton, making a name off somebody else's back.

            Khan v brook
            Prediction: khan by KO, TKO

I'll put a real wager against anyone who picks kell because it's easy money.

Oh yeah because brook is a world beater and has beaten top 10 fighters back to back! Peterson will be khans 6th top 10 ring ranked fighter at JWW! Thats a good resume so how you can put down that resume shows your biased. Brook is a year older then khan has had 2 less fights then khan and how many top 10 fighters has he fought?

Kell is a good talent but to say he beats a world class operator holds no weight until he starts beating good competition.

Neither can Khan, that's why sky dropped him and he's fighting in peterson's hometown. Stop pretending he is some ricky hatton. the man's a ****ing joke.

His resume is vastly overrated. Malignaggi sucks, mccloskey come on. Kotelnik is overrated. Maidana beat his a$$. Peterson? The man runs off at the mouth and then fights has beens or never was.

He won't fight brook, he'll fight hatton and his idiot fans will say hatton's a bigger draw....................clown

Plus brook is a prospect becoming a contender. He isn't supposed to be fighting the best yet. Khan is world class. He shouldn't be fighting bottom half of the top 10 in his division.

Giving khan credit for fighting top 10 ring fighters and then criticizing brook shows YOUR bias.

#7 ring ranking for welterweight is the man brook just dominated. Not some 100th ranked bum as some have said
