jackiewiez is garbage. Until Brooks gets one decent win on his resume, I won't care about this guy.

I'd love to see Brook fight Mike Jones or Dejan Zavec.

Brooks looked very, very good. Now is the time to step him up to top 5 Welterweight level against a name that the World recognize.

You know after rewatching that KO, I'm pretty sure they had the fight fixed or something. Because Jackie was never stopped before, and he wasn't getting stopped in this fight either. I don't know what the odds were, but someone definitely cashed in handily on this. Call me a conspiracionist, but that was really a BS KO.

I agree, it was a complete bulls*it stoppage but its common now in Britain. As soon as the ref sees a trickle of blood he jumps in. Take Rees vs Matthews for European title last week. The ref called it off because Matthews had a bust nose! If a guy cant finish a fight with a bust nose he shouldn't be in the ring.

Definitely BS stoppage, this is even worse than the Joe calzaghe-manfredo stoppage.

Have you been to Manchester? That is one tough place in my book.

Crime statistics in Manchester are well above the national average and areas like Ardwick, Ancoats, Benchill, Collyhurst, Harpurhey, Moston, Wythenshawe, and others; all have social deprivation issues alongside the areas of high gang activity such as Cheetham Hill, Longsight, Moss Side, and Salford.

Anyhow, back to boxing. Brooks looks very good. I hope he fights in the US for more exposure.
