During his ten day visit to Poland, Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KOs) did not complain about the lack of interesting activities. Adamek came over to Warsaw Bemowo, a former airport strip which is now used as a race track, and tried his hand as a rally driver. Adamek appears to be fully recovered from last month's beating at the hands of WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. Adamek, who was the mandatory challenger at the time of the fight, fell to a number six position in the new WBC rankings.
