Fighters cut weight in large part by dehydrating themselves and not eating leading up to a weigh in. After the weigh in and before the fight they re-hydrate and eat, and it is common for fighters to come into the ring on fight night weighing ten to fifteen percent more than they did 24 hours earlier at the weigh in. Find a picture of JMM on fight night against Floyd, and compare it to how he looks on fight night against Paq. The weight will be the same, but there will be an obvious difference. Against Floyd he looked soft, against Paq he will be in much better shape. All I'm saying is he didnt do it right against Floyd (he still would have lost the fight), but he learned from that mistake and will put on the right kind of weight this time.

Its like they cannot comprehend the difference between a divisional limit and fight-night weight. They all need a punch in the face.
You cannot comprehend the fact that most fighters at 135 weigh in at 135 24 hours before the fight and walk in the ring on fight night weighing 140 -145 anyway. Paq and his camp figured out that if they fight at 147 they dont have to cut weight, can fight at the natural weight on fight night, thereby having much more stamina, strength, and endurance. You apparently cant comprehend the second sentence in your own post. JMM will weigh in at 142, Paq at 144, on fight night JMM will be about 145, Paq about 148. Not enough difference to matter. Any time you really think you want to punch me in the face, PM me and I"ll do what I can to give you the opportunity.

Yes, the re-hydration after the weigh in is a given. But the extra weigh he put on (talking fight night weight) for Mayweather compared to his previous fights has nothing to do with more water weight. The extra weigh he gained for Mayweather was body fat, which always accumulates early on when you go up a weight class.

I agree with your point about the body fat gain the last time JMM went up in weight to face Floyd. But based on how he looked when he fought at 138 in July I really think we are going to see a different JMM come Nov 13. He will be more muscular than he was vs Floyd but still weigh about the same on fight night.

I'm interested in seeing what the actual weigh-ins and fight night weights are. I wouldn't be surprised if Pac came in @142 and JMM @ 136-138.

Before the 12-0 shutout at 144, Manny Pacquiao wasn't the least bit interested in handling his unfinished business with JMM. You can tell by the look on Manny's face that he was shocked to have won that fight with Marquez. When they announced his name, he looked shocked, relieved, and he appeared to have a thought that they would announce Marquez as the winner.

shocked?..lol...even if true , thats beucase he prolly thought he would get robbed of a win again like the first fight...remeber , one judge admitted of making a mistake with scoring the first round 10- 7 instead of 10-6 which costed pac a SD win in the first fight?.....GTFOH
