I've been looking for a vid of this fight. I heard Nietes dominated the first half of the fight.

If only we could simmer down the recognized championship belt to one or two. I don't know how the WBO belt became a major belt........by the end of the decade we might have 10 major belts.

Garcia should have won this fight. Although I'm expecting the judges to score this a close one, I never expected a UD with a huge margin for Nietes. Garcia is the more aggressive fighter, no doubt about it. Besides, he is the champion and Nietes should have done more.

I guess this is a case of highway robbery?

As for the current Filipino Champs, I believe Nietes won a world title before Viloria and Donaire so he should be the second Filipino world champion not the fourth.

i think garcia won this, i know he was the visitor but when a fighter closes that strong i think even the judges can't deny him the win
hopefully they rematch in mexico, i dont think nietes has anything to fear since he already won a very close fight there against vargas
