"Try as I may, I don't see why being a superstar should be the defining element in boxing. Bradley is a star"

being a Superstar doesn't have to be the defining moment for someone, but just know that so called Superstars or Elite fighters get the bigger paydays and have the general public more interested in their fights

Bradley did not want to fight with Shaw, and no matter what Shaw claims there would have been strings attached..A **** promoter like Shaw can't afford to let a fight with a bright future like Bradley just walk away..Bradley wanted to be free from Shaw before he fought Alexander and almost stopped the fight from even happening..Why then would he sign to Khan and sign another extension with a promoter who he did not want to be with??Bradley had a fight date, why would Shaw allow Khan to fight Mcflurry then try to make a fight with Bradley??Why would he not say you fight on Bradley's date or no dice??I'll tell ya why,Shaw is in no position to nego with a monster promotion team like GBP..Shaw is a low level promoter and in a fight like this you want the best possible team to get ya back..Bradley did not take the Khan fight because he seen greener grass else where..With Shaw he get's Khan, let's say he beats Khan then he would still have legal issues because Shaw is not letting him walk away this is business..He would have still had these same legal issues then and would have still halted his career for a min..Instead he go's to TR where he has a lot of options outside of just Khan..A lot of ways to make good money and make a bit of a name for himself..Signing with TR was good business/not fear of Khan..

say what you want about Shaw, but before Shaw got involved Bradley was fighting 6 rounders in hotel ballrooms in front of 300 people for $800. Shaw's connections and access to ShoBox and Showtime dates are what gave Bradley national exposure in the first place.................

You can say the same for any fighter fighting in the sport today, but at the end of the day it's about getting to the next level..That level(at this point in time)is TR or GBP..Shaw put's no money behind his fighters at all, think what Darchinyan is..A fighter that exciting should have been made it to HBO,been promoted better but as it stands he is only known to hardcore fans..While guys like Ortiz Maidana(who has never even been a champion)are more known then him..What about Dawson who is super talented but yet very unknown..Hell B-Hop is gonna make this kid name mean something by fighting him..Everyone starts somewhere but when that route has run it's course you have to move on..Which is what Bradley did,Bradley has unified twice under Shaw..I'm sure he has paid Shaw back for everything he has done for him,now it's time to start fresh and new..
