First words from Larry Merchant's mouth after Mayweather KO'd Ortiz...

"An outstanding performance by Mayweather. He knew the flaws in Ortiz, he seized on them, he took some of Ortiz's good shots. For once we can all say he was as exciting inside the ring as he has been outside the ring."

Yes, so disrespectful and clearly he never gives Floyd a fair shake.

    What a bunch of BS!

Mayweather's verbal assault against Merchant was rude, wrong and WAY out of line!

Too bad Floyd never heard something like that from Merchant himself. Maybe that's why he reacted the way he did. But yeah, his reaction was indeed rude and inappropriate.

He did not give Merchant a chance. Money came to that interview looking for any reason, looking for any opening to explode on Merchant. His contempt for Merchant was FAR MORE obvious than any contempt Merchant might have had for Mayweather. That reaction by Floyd was something already on his mind and when he saw his opening he took it. His mouth is faster than his hands and he looked like an idiot assaulting Merchant after Merchant said such respectful things right after the KO.

Merchant was giving him props for comming forward being more agressive than he has been this was during that short interview after the fight, But Floyd noticed that people were not happy with that classless ***** like move and he snapped the kid is so ****ing insecure and he relies on his *****sexuals to back up each and ever word he says....

I would like for anybody to point out at which point did Larry not give Floyd credit during that interview....

Merchant was reciting some rehearsed lines he had prepared for Floyd in the event he won by being aggressive. He did, and he was. So Merchant robotically uttered the quoted phrase.

Immediately afterwards he went into his normal deprecating nonsense, even questioning if the headbutt was actually intentional, and trying to devalue Floyd's victory in the interview.

Floyd was correct in acting like he did. Merchant was disgraceful and actually PHYSICALLY THREATENED Mayweather, and should be fired as a result.

Actually you should lisyen again, larry. Larry wasn't giving Floyd full credit even though he was giving him some props. And he was quickly going to go negative the way he always does. Listen to his comments and time of voice
