I'm glad that Mayweather won, the only drawback to the whole thing is the WAY IT ENDED. Objectively speaking, I think everyone would agree that they would've enjoyed the fight more had it gone more rounds.

Having said that, you CANNOT blame Floyd for that. You could blame Ortiz for leaving his hands down and you could blame Cortez for not handling the situation better.

I personally think most of the blame falls on Córtez. He should'vce left both fighters in the corners, called time-in, make sure the time was in and then make them box. Ortiz probably thought Cortez hadn't been explicit enough and paid for it, so he kept his hands down. In my opinion, Cortez is the guy to blame for the whole affair. He should've handled that better.

This is yet another reason why they should only hire Kenny Bayless for big fights.
