HBO said that Zbik was too much of a scrub for Martinez to fight and let Chumpez Jr. fight him instead. HBO didn't want Pirog back on their channel after he spoiled the show by beating Jacobs. Barker beats them both anyways and Martinez KO'd him, he'd kill the other two guys.

Chavez will get on one knee and bow his head to Sergio while he hands his belt over.

haha, martinez is crazy if he actually does that. i say fight geale or rubio early next year and really corner him into giving that belt up. tr and his camp will probably find a way for him to not be able to fight early next year.

The Racket Squad: Sergio Too Good For Junior

Julio Jr. is a better warrior then most give him credit for.
He cannot beat the superior skills that Martinez brings to the dance but Canelo is another saga.

Gomez was handling him until stamina and a careless manner allowed Saul to secure victory.
Junior has guts that Alvarez has yet to discover.
John Scully showed us what heights Chavez is willing to climb.
Canelo has not come close to similar heat.

Junior by late KO if they contest between 157 -160.

I feel terrible for Sergio. The middleweight terrain is barren in an almost tragic way.
Next to heavyweight, it's the Lost Highway of once potent divisions.

Sergio acts like he's being ducked by pacquiao, mayweather, and cotto, yet he gives THE EXACT SAME REASONS for not wanting to fight guys like Pirog. . . How can he be such a coward? He's got to realize that he's only TWO YEARS deep into fighting on top. . . Whereas pac, cotto, and floyd have been fighting on world class stage FOR A DECADE!

His father, Antonio Margarito aka POPPA TONY really did teach him so much better than this cowardly behavior. . .

To Poppa Tony's son's credit - Geale is DUCKING him. . . Geale doesn't want in piece of Martinez. . . Unless HBO offered him a lot of money, which I doubt they will. . .

Now RUBIO - I would love that fight. . . POPPA TONY gives Rubio permission to be his son's disciplinarian to enforce the lessons he once taught sergio. . . Rubio cracks his ass out, and maybe through the damn ropes like his daddy did to him! LOL, make his son slump helplessly down after getting TAXED!

If Chavez vacates the belt, Martinez won't receive it right away though. I think Sulaiman said Martinez and Rubio will have to fight for the vacant belt.

I never really understood how/why Martinez got robbed of his belt in the first place. They (WBC) made up some diamond belt bullshit so they could give the belt to Chavez. WTF is a diamond belt? What next? A ruby belt? A freakin' flower belt?
