Morales's 4th belt was a gift from the WBC. He didn't earn the spot.

WBC were desperate to give Morales their belt though lets face it. He got beat By Raheem then followed two KO losses in a row to Pac. Then he got beat by Diaz and then got beat by Maidana all in the space of afew fights. In his very next fight he walks into another WBC title fight against an unknown. Had he lost he would have probably been given a shot at another paper champ. Morales is a legend. This isnt a go at him but just the politics of boxing and how dodgy Suliaman is. Morales hasnt beat a decent opponent in years and that was at 130 yet he has been given multiple title fights since after back to back defeats.

sad but true. I think morales mentioned his desire to return to 135 lbs to face the winner of linares vs demarco..so maybe that might be his chance to win a legitimate world title in a 4th weight division.

Like its Morales fault that Matthysse pulled out? People talk too much but they would never dare step in the ring with either one of these 2 warriors. Arce and Morales come to fight, always give it their heart in the ring, and fight truly for the people. Morales is very crafty and he would give problems to any JWW. Not saying he would win, cause someone whos fast enough will give him problems. Still you can never count him out, PRs just like to discredit them because their insecure with the champions they got, and come December 3 they wont have anymore champions
