neither one of them really are imo. morales won a ibelt he didnt deserve against an opponent who didnt deserve to get the shot. lets keep it real.

          I agree.
If Morales would've beaten Matthysse for the title, I would have given him respect but now, just no

morales won belt from a recognized boxing body, thus the argument stays true.

regardless of opposition (his 140 belt), he still win it fair and square.

yea, just goes to show that belts man ****. that doesnt help any argument at all. but of course because morales is a respected fighter, he gets recognition and a pass for this. but at the end of the day, its just paper.

Funny how quickly we forget, in truth, Morales should already be a 4 weight world Champion since he won the lightweight title against Diaz back in 2007, virtually everyone agreed except the judges who were in a planet of their own. They gave it to the home town boy, not unusual in boxing.

But, how any1 can claim Morales doesn't deserve it is just madness!

Nobody deserves it more, if not for the aforementioned, then many also agree he won against Maidana which would've made him a more acceptable contender. Bad judging decisions is bad enough on its own, the least we can do is RECOGNIZE IT as such!

Morales winning a fourth title against Cano is a form of poetic justice and I welcome it!

a paper champ in the eyes of many, but let us just call him lucky..

in the history of this sport, somebody has to be the first. if it's that easy, many mexicans would already be 4 div champ by now. all they would do is ask their promoters to fight for a vacant belt.

someday, guys like montiel would do the same feat, but for now, let's just be happy for morales.. unless you're an MAB fan..
