I know they've got a few good amateurs.
China only has a few good amateurs and only 1 legitimate professional heavyweight (3 and 0). I think China will come up with some great talent soon. I mean, with its population so huge, it's only going to be a matter of time before something lands on the big stage. Look at the Olympics and the way they've recently breaking into Snooker's Top Ranks. We own at racket sports but sadly suck badly in Soccer - that's a sport we'll never be good at.

Holy **** this will be a STACKED ASS card! margarito/cotto; wolak/rodriguez; rios/murray. . . GUARANTEED to be a night of nonstop action. . . WARS WILL BE WAGED. .

but yes, murray is a D+ version of BAM BAM!!!

not getting my hopes up too much, because I don't know if Warren will want to take the fight - a brutal KO loss, which is an almost certainty, wouldn't be the best thing if Warren plans to get Murray back to the position he intended him to be in. . .

nice - you a lawyer in china? what kind of law do you practice?

im in my second year - about halfway though. . I'm going solo practitioner - mainly criminal, but ill handle all kinds of stuff - from wills and divorces to civil actions (injuries, workers comp., insurance claims, etc.). . . but starting out my bread and butter will probably be court-appointed cases. . .

Murray has had one competitive fight and he was knocked out in 8 rounds by the guy in my avatar. But then again Mitchell is one helluva boxer.

it is an easy win for rios - murray doesn't have much of a punch to bother rios, nor does he have the boxing skills to confuse him. . . it will look good on his resume, and it will be a nice stay-busy type fight as he ponders his next move.

How does it look good on his resume?

                  It looks terrible.

If Rios wanted to stay busy he should've fought someone who would take him a while to get rid of/distance.

Guys come on - I might have stated that it was bad for Rios but really, it's a win-win situation for Murray. If he wins, he'll get the Regular Title and a lot of pride that he came back from defeat. Coming out defeated - well, it was a big ask anyway and I don't think it will damage him too much. Still, coming back from defeat, Rios is not the best option.

Because Murray has a pretty record (aside from one loss), and he had a lot of hype around him. . . AND, not to mention, it's not a SHOWCASE fight for rios - it's likely to be the opening fight on a PPV undercard. . . I like the fight, and I think at the end of the day, it will look pretty good on his resume. LOL it's not like it's a unification/HBO headliner type fight. . .

moreover, since murray is a come forward ****er tpye guy, it will give rios the chance to get some rounds it - he can practice fighting off the back foot, working the jab-piece, and what have you. . .

anyway, i doubt the fight gets made. . . warren still wants to build him back up i believe. but he has been risky with his fighters lately. so who knows.
