June 17, 2005 - Moments ago Vitali Klitschko's advisor Shelly Finkel responded to our interview with Dan Goossen by basically telling us that Goossen was full of it. At first Team Klitschko offered Toney 35% of the pot, only to have Goossen and Toney respond by demanding parity on **********. Finkel explained that after Toney demanded 50-50 Team Klitschko offered Toney a $3M guarantee with a bonus if the fight took place for the WBC title. "When they came up with the 50-50, I tried to find another way to get it done and e haven't heard back from them since we offered the $3M." With Toney now willing to accept 60-40 does that change anything regarding Klitschko's next fight? According to Finkel it's highly doubtful "because we're already pretty far along with the other (Maskaev) fight." Stay tuned to ********** for all the latest.

Vitali's camp said no! Why should Vitali put his belt on the line and split 50/50??? They moved on... BTW all of which (planning a fight with Brock and Maskayev) was all to just **** around with Don King for messing up with Wlad's ratings which made Williamson the mandatory for IBF (byrd)

toney made it clear hes not serious about fighting the klitschkos by making it a point to go after john ruiz and take the easiest way to a title. if toney had any balls he wouldve set his sights on the real belt and made himself the mandatory.
