    Why no exciting cards

Sure big names good matchups at times, but no promotion what so ever, your average dude doesnt know Danny Garcia from a pile of crap, your Lucian Bute from a 2 man line up,the point is boxing needs a makeover a new approach to new times.

true dat and completely agree. Although if you go anywhere throughout Montreal they basically all know who Lucian Bute is but I know what your saying. I feel Boxing has too niche of a platform to create stars in North America mainly the united states. Because having a prospect/contender fight on HBO/Showtime does nothing for them because the people who are already watching are Boxing fans get fights rolling on TNT,TBS, or hopefully NBC.

It doesnt matter to promoters right now. They are on subscription tv and PPV. They have the fans they have. They feel no need to lose money promoting. It's a sad viscious cycle that will take some lows in order to make change. Unfortunately everyone is still making too much money to change.
