Comments Thread For: Pacquiao vs Ortiz Clash Should Happen Next, Says Janik

During Wednesday's open media workout for this Friday’s ShoBox card headlined by a lightweight battle between Sharif Bogere and Francisco Contreras, I spotted Joseph ‘Hoss’ Janik, strength and conditioning coach for former champion Victor Ortiz. Janik also trains a few fighters himself, including twice-beaten junior middleweight prospect Francisco Santana, who faces off with unbeaten Jermell Charlo in a co-feature to the Bogere-Contreras scrap.

Don't give Arum ideas. He might just steal Ortiz, have him sign with Top Rank and make this ****ty fight happen.

1,000,000th time posting this. Ortiz had a better chance at beating a "doesn't expect to get hit" Mayweather then beating "We're going to go to war and I'll dish out twice the amount of punishment you dish to me" Pacquiao.

Useless fight as of this moment.

If Ortiz looks REALLY REALLY good in his next two fights, then maybe.

But as of RIGHT NOW...no, just no.

                  OMG! Are they ****in ******ed!?

Ortiz just got KTFO, is a dirty fighter, and lost every round against Floyd.

And they want to give him a shot against Pac?? How is this justified?

I really like Pac, but he really is now just fighting guys coming off a loss and Floyds left overs. Its embarrassing.

While I don't want this to happen, it'd be more entertaining than Mayweather's due to their styles.
Also when was the last time Pac fought someone coming off a loss? Been years hasn't it?
