When Floyd spoke of money, he referred to all the hard work he's put in for him to give up any of the purse split. Funny how splitting the purse wasnt an issue up until now. If I can find it on my PC, I even have an article with direct quotes from Floyd and Ellerbe stating that the money split isnt an issue.

Just think of the definition of "Self preservation" and tell me what part of that has anything to do with finances or purse split? I posted it up for you a few posts ago.

    self-pres·er·va·tion (slfprzr-vshn)
    n.
    1. Protection of oneself from harm or destruction.
    2. The instinct for individual preservation; the innate desire to stay alive.

And for the record, when it came to testing, Pac never backed out. Both sides couldnt come to an agreement on a cutoff date therefore Pac moved on. Now that testing is no longer an issue, the new issue from Floyd is money split. Better yet, no split at all. Dont you see a pattern here?
Like I said, Bob Costas asked a question about purse split and this was part of floyd's answer. For you to take it out of that context to make your argument is really childish.

ANyone who has followed the sport a long time knows the financial difficulties Ali had late in his career and thew fights he took. I just don't think you are old enough or know enough to remember this. Of course you want to criticize floyd so you probably aren't too concerned with any facts the impact your ability to do just that.

The first time purse split was made an issue was by manny. He said this in the video where he said "there are no more issues with testing." SO if you want to discuss a pattern, perhaps you should be honest.

Interesting way you word it when Manny outright refused testing, not just the date. Perhaps you should treat all fighters the way you do Manny.

There's no point in debating with you. The world can look out the window and see a blue sky. If Floyd looks out and says its red, you'll defend him and say something like "who is everyone to say what Floyd sees out of his own 2 eyes".

Out of curiousity, just last week you said Floyd's demand of no purse split was pure greed on his behalf and you didnt agree with it. Do you still have the same view?

        • Self Preservation...FINANCIALLY! Not Physically in the ring, some of you knew what he was saying but because you hate the guy your turning this comment into "Mayweather Is Avoiding Pacquiao For Self Preservation" lol

Mayweather don't want to do business with a crook like Bob Arum, especially when it comes to % Splits and Sharing Profits and I can't really say I blame him because he himself knows how DIRTY Arum IS...hell he did Business with the man before so he knows him more then any of us do

The problem with Mayweather is that he is not articulate enough to give a proper answer so he end up sticking his foot in his mouth a lot and he gives people who hate him a lot of Ammo to use against him with some of his comments and contradictions

All he has to say is that if Pacquiao wants to fight and wants 50/50 then pay Bob Arum off himself to get out of his current deal (Like Mayweather did to leave Top Rank to go fight Oscar) and we will go off and work a deal out in which BOTH OF US will walk away with A LOT OF MONEY because lets be honest...NEITHER SIDE NEED A PROMOTER AT THIS POINT, but Pacquiao is DEPENDENT on Konz and Arum, it is obvious that he lets them handle EVERYTHING FOR HIM FINANCIALLY and that is a HUGE MISTAKE, me personally I wouldn't want my Manager and Promoter to get along and to agree on everything and I also think it is ****** to accept a Manager that your Promoter Recommends for you

Mike Tyson made that mistake, he accepted the managers that Don King recommended for him and together that ROBBED TYSON BLIND!

This is why Arum don't like people like Rachel Donaire, Cameron Dunkin, Al Haymon because they are very smart people and they are not going to be push overs and they are not going to work together with Bob Arum to EXTORT THEIR CLIENTS! But he loves people like Oner and Konz, push overs who will do what ever Arum tells them

Floyd clearly stated that he isnt giving up a percentage of the ppv to ANYONE including Pac. Did you not hear that part?

Your first paragraph is ******ed but its a typical tactic of manny fans like yourself. You know you are wrong and cant refute what i wrote with any facts, so instead you denigrate the poster by saying well yeah you agree with anything floyd says. SO be it.

Just apply the same standard to every fighter you apply to floyd.

There is no reason for me to change my opinion of what I felt about the $40 mil.

There is no point to debate me when all you do is hate blindly and ignorantly. Again, the typical tactic. If you can't beat em, well insult them and say its about loyalty to floyd. But its all good.

everybody knows floyd got on the easy road as soon as he left 135. how do you think he got the cherry picker reputation? his stans say it's because people "hate" him but that's 1 of the reasons. that and his de****able out of ring behavior. plus their stans what do they know. no need to waste time making threads about the obvious.
