    Miguel Cotto -V- Paul Williams @ 154Lbs

I would rather have seen Cotto fight Paul Williams, I know Paul is alot taller than Cotto but I think Cotto's great equalizer is his power, I believe Cotto punches harder than Paul but Paul has those long arms that could potentially jab Cotto all night.

I think this fight would have been more interesting than Cotto v Margarito II, I dont know why this fight has not be talked about this much, Who wins it and would you buy it on PPV?

yeah, ive always wanted a fight like this... 154 has the most intruiging match ups IMO.

    cotto
    Pwill
    angulo
    alvarez
    lara
    even molina
    kirkland ect.

Match up any of these guys with eachother and its an exciting fight IMO

Cotto had enough trouble with a tall pressure fighter like Margarito. Just imagine a tall pressure fighter who's 7 inches taller than Cotto.

        I have to agree.

Cotto does have a chance with his power though. Martinez showed that if you land the right shot then Williams will go down.

Even still though, i really wouldn't like Cotto's chances in this fight.

          Cotto? Power? lol

Cotto stops fighters by breaking them down but when they pressure him he is done for, Williams by kneeage

it's a much closer fight now that pwill has gotten his chin cracked.

I slightly favor pwill if he cotto doesn't KO him.

            If I'm arum, I make clottey/pwill first.

Yeah power. 29KOs out of 36 wins proves it.

He's certainly not a one punch KO artist but neither is Martinez and that's all it took for him to end Williams night.

I'm not saying Cotto stops Williams with one shot but what i'm getting at is, maybe Martinez cracked Williams chin ? always a possibility.

It's also possible that Cotto lands enough hard shots to break Williams down.

                Highly unlikely but still possible.

I personally see Cotto being overwhelmed with Williams pressure, activity, height and reach. Late TKO for the Punisher.

i always thought cotto v williams in 2008 at welterweight would have been a phenomenal war.

                  at 154 now i think its a 50/50 fight

its a shame williams has the ****TEST representatives in sports

Well, I'm a huge Miguel Cotto fan, but this is a very tough fight for him. He would definitely have a chance. I voted for Cotto, but that might have just been with my heart.
