Is Floyd promoted by GBP or not?

I see some posters say he's a partner and I see some say he's promoted by GBP. According to the GBP site, Floyd is listed on the roster as a GBP fighter.

He is co-owned by GBP but he claims he's his own boss.

Yeah he's on the roster regardless of what he says and as long as they match him up against a Golden Boy fighter they can satisfy his huge demands and let him say whatever the hell he wants. The funny thing is Floyds more of a partner than Mosley was and it was cold how Floyd threw Mosley under the bus by telling everyone Mosley wasn't really a partner (we all knew he wasn't and neither is BHOP).

exactly...kind of like how major record labels give rappers their own 'record labels'

Sounds about right! Its just weird how both Floyd and Oscar are in business yet they both have genuine dislike for one another.

Mayweather promotions is just a name. Its not an actual boxing promotional company. He's not a licensed boxing promoter.
