HBO will have Williams who's lost his past two fights and looked like hot garbage on the best available HBO slot before ever letting Pirog on again, that's for sure, so it makes sense.

I would still love to see this fight. I think it would be a good scrap. The only problem is that I know Pavlik will likely want a tune up bout since he's been inactive and Williams will likely want the same given his last performance. This fight should definitely happen though.

pavlik surely is too big for 160 at this point. And Williams is a 154 fighter.

only problem is the weight - i think pavlik is looking to fight at super middleweight, while williams is looking to fight at 154; however, if they could work out the weight issues, it would be a hell of a fight.
