From a financial angle, though, PR is probably the best place to hold the fight. I doubt that they would do anything fishy with such a huge spotlight on them. . . PR will treat Salido fairly. . .

Maybe they should hold the fight in New York? See how many PR's Juan Ma brings out? In Mexico I just don't think Salido can bring enough of a live gate.

As a Juanma fan, i'm not looking forward to this fight based on his last performance.

He has fallen in love with his power and in the process has thrown punching technique out the window and constantly leaves his chin up in the air to get tagged on.

If he fights like that against Salido again, it will end in the same result.

Only way Juanma has a chance is if he learns to tuck his chin in, keep his hands up and goes back to boxing his opponents.

Salido might have a style that will always cause Juanma problems, Salido is very awkward and you don't know where the punches are coming from.

Juanma needs to learn how to fight like a guy who has no power.

He needs use his jab like weapon.

He needs bring his hands back while and after throwing a combo.

              This should simple sh$t for a ex-champion.

This is a tough fight for Juanma. Especially since he didnt show anything in his last performance other than the usual, 2 bricks in his hands but no improvements to those same bad habits. He did come out and admitted he didnt look good so at least thats a good sign. I think he needs to box his way to a decision against Salido. He shouldnt be thinking about a KO. If he chooses to exchange, same **** will happen.

This really looks like a 50/50 fight at this point. Salido has a hard style for him because he has a solid chin and brings pressure, but Juanma is the more talented between the two. All depends on whether Lopez can really out box this guy without getting into too much of a brawl...
