when manny was training tommy hearns, he got 20%as the trainer and another 20% as the manager for a total of 40%. he would end up making more than the fighter because tommy had to pay the entourage while manny just put his dough in the bank.

I think Pacquiao should review the cost of keeping Roach. It seems a lot of boxers have changed coaches in their career. Pacman needs a new perspective in fighting.

Of course, Pac can stick with Roach all the way to retirement just like Floyd's announcement regarding Roger. This is also a great option.
If you think think a degree means anything in boxing then you are a dumbass....

People stop speculating, it was all about $$$ and schedule.
Steward wanted to train Cotto and Wlad at the same time, cause Wlad fights on Dec 10th. He wanted to leave Santiago running Cotto's camp while he was w/ Wlad but didn't want to modify his fee and Cotto didn't buy to that and decided to hire the Cuban.

Precisely what I posted in another thread. I can't remember where I read it first, though. Somewhere about a year ago I read that Emanuel Steward was a notoriously expensive trainer...
