Here we go again. Floyd Mayweather continues to deceive the public about why the biggest fight in boxing history won’t happen.
On some radio show this week, Mayweather was forced to talk about Manny Pacquiao.
Floyd: “It’s all about the red, white and blue. Pacquiao comes to this country he makes money and he takes it back to his country, to feed his people. So why we even speaking on the man, he’s irrelevant.”
Analysis: This is Floyd once again trying to discredit and diminish the biggest star in boxing today. Mayweather is pleading with Americans to support himself because he’s a fellow American, and to reject Manny Pacquiao. Floyd is also wrong to say Pacquiao is irrelevant in America. Pac Man is an American and global sensation. He is so popular in America that NFL team owners ask him to fight in their stadiums. Irrelevant? Floyd Mayweather, who can’t even sell out the MGM in his hometown, is insanely envious of the humble, soft-spoken, fearless Filipino. Floyd, an insecure, fake, bully, wishes Manny Pacquaio was irrelevant and that he’d just go away.
Floyd: “If he really wanted to fight it would have been happening.”
Analysis: This is another lie by the master liar. Projecting is what Floyd and his stooges in the media try to do. But the truth is if Mayweather really wanted the fight with Pacquiao, it would be happening now that Pacquiao has agreed to Floyd’s big bluff, the random testing. But Mayweather only pretends to want to fight Pacquiao — because he has to. Floyd is actually 100% against the fight. This is why Richard Schaefer and Al Haymon never reach out to Bob Arum to try and negotiate a deal. Schaefer and Haymon understand Floyd lacks the confidence to face Manny and so they, like Floyd, actually avoid taking real steps to pursue the fight.
