The question is somewhat backwards, considering that Taylor is one up.

What will Hopkins do to win the rematch? Come out faster, and maybe burn out? Not give away so many early rounds, by what, using more energy? He has terrific old time skills, but fights scared in the early rounds, and is even older in the rematch.

Who learned more from the first fight, the big fight rookie Taylor, or the many times champion Hopkins?

It's going to be hard for Hopkins to win a decision, he doesn't have the energy to go hard in every round. He couldn't KO Taylor in the first fight even after the rookie got tired and headbutted. How's he going to KO him in the second fight?

Hopkins for sure is smart and knows that he needs to KO Taylor, so I hope we see him come out gunning for the KO and we get a terrific fight. But he's never done that before and I really don't expect it this time.

Taylor will be more confident, stronger, pace himself better, and now knows what Hopkins is about. Hopkins will be older.

Hopkins will be older but Taylor didn't really show all that much in the first fight..Taylor needs to come with more, as does Hopkins since neither really looked great (or even good) in their first match...Taylor may be a little more settled down and may throw fewer wild punches but I am really looking forward to seeing what Nard can bring to the table...If Hopkins goes balls out we could have a really interesting match...I think it could really go either way...the first one was close and unless someone gets lucky and gets the ko I think it will be close again..

He just came out throwing punches, the gassed out, then the old man beat the **** out of him.

Man, if you're so confident, bet me ALL your points

Taylor did nothing in that fight, Hopkins was robbed plain and simple.... Hopkins will probably do the same thing, only just confirm the rounds in the last 10-20 seconds, unlike last time, and come away victorious like he should've been in the first match. i had the fight 116-112 Hopkins. He took away Taylor's jab, made him miss, and outlanded him with overall punches, as well as power punches, what the frick else needs to be explained. politics were the culprit in the out come of the first fight. HBO vs Hopkins, of course you know who wins.....

Taylor looked apprehensive and amateurish against Hopkins. While Taylor puts on a front like he is confident, I don't think he is truly confident with himself that he can beat a cagy fighter like Bernard. I rate bernard very highly in my books, and I think his skill and technical brilliance won't be matched for a long, long time.

I'm leaning towards Hopkins KOing taylor late. I'm still not buying into the bigger, faster, stronger attributes that Taylor supposedly have. He wasn't boxing like he usually is when he fought Hopkins he was getting outclassed and just swinging to try to catch Hopkins. Like I said, he looked like an amateur out there on a big stage.

Hopkins honestly needs to take a risk for greatness...

People say if he starts fast, he will burn out..

Well, I think he should try and start fast and KNOCKOUT Taylor in the early rounds..

Hopkins will win this no matter what!

                    good question.

                    the answer: nothing.
