With the proper training and time, which big name fighter do you think you'd beat?

I would imagine Ivan Calderon would eventually knock me out after a mega beating lasting the best part of 22 hours (if I got myself into incredible shape).Comment

LOL, This Thread is Hilarious. I BOX and find this Amusing. I daydream all the time about fighting guys like floyd, Pac, Cotto, Klitch? But I would never FIGHT ROY JONES JR!!Comment

Be realistic... If you are anywhere near 147 or above you could probably take him on. I know I would lay him flat like the punk he is. Given the right timeframe and training. I would hire Freddie Roach or Billy Graham (Ricky Hattons original trainer) as my trainer.Comment

But I'm not a boxer- at any level. I'm not even a shitty boxer.
You're talking about world class boxers - the little man would kick my arse all over the place. I wouldn't be able to hit him with bag of rice. It would be a long drawn out process due to him being tiny and me twice his size.Comment

I've done kick-boxing for a fews years when I was a kid, played a lot of sport.

IF an athlete prepares his body for fighting he can hold his own. I ran track and field in high school and was part of the cheerleading team for 6 years, I have stamina and flexibility. Also did some (though not much) wrestling in college, I have the attributes to really do some damage to any boxer below 147. I could probably push my body more though.
Ivan calderon is a punk bum. I would dare to take him on in the street without any training just raw talent.Comment

Please, you are overrating fighters friend. They are humans just like you and me who exercise and prepare their bodies for fighting.

Alrighty.
We need a new tv show. Just Ivan Calderon kicking people's arses. Most people wouldn't be able to hit him - fact!Comment

There was a heavyweight who showed up at my gym and he was a beginner. He was ripped and looked in shape. He kept telling his coach that he wanted to fight me for some reason, I weighed about 155-160 at the time. He persisted so they gloved us up. I told him if you want to work I'll work, if you want to fight then I'll fight. To make a long story short he tried to open up on me and I rolled his right hand and shot mine back square into his head. He fell back like a falling tree crashing into the canvas. Morale of the story being that skill is what pays the bills. Anybody can get into great shape but to be able to fight a world class fighter you will need skill to go along with it...........Rockin'Comment

you are dillusional at best. You can be in the best shape of your life and it will equal nothing against these guys without proper training and skill.

I have plenty of skills and I would like a crack at you rockin. Jabs only fight so you can see my type of power.
Plus I said in the thread title WITH proper training and time frame. I would be ready for a fight against let's say Floyd in 6 months. I would be ready for a fight against you in a few days I bet my friend. Peace and love though. I am a boxer and I keep it professional, nothing personal man.Comment
