While the recognized best middleweight in the world, Sergio ‘Maravilla’ Martinez, continued his winning ways this past Saturday night at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, his recent victory has brought up some criticisms from some boxing insiders. Martinez started off slow against London's Darren Barker before picking up the pace late in the fight on his way to an 11th round TKO.

Looking at serious challenges at 154 pounds
“Absolutely. But he can do even less than that. People don’t understand that Sergio ‘Maravilla’ Martinez is naturally at 154 or a welterweight. He’s not at 168, he’s not a middleweight. He’s there because he has no other choice to be there.”

You see that clear you worthless punk?

i disagree. that would be a shelll version of martinez. 150 is the minimum. and thats based of segio's words and yes u wold have to absolutely give him credit. martinez imposed this catchweight on himself or so he says. so i see no reason to if u want this fight to happen. same for floyd.

Do you consider JMM a natural LW or featherweight?

Pacquiao gets no CREDIT for fighting Martinez at lower than 154.

                That's irrelevant you hoe.

We are talking about a possible Pacquiao-Martinez bout here. Martinez camp claims he is comfortable at WW so why wouldn't a fight at 147 be legit punk?

Yeah, obviously, but it does cheapen the fight.

Martinez is claiming he is a 147lbs and 154lbs guy, so 150lbs would be a perfect weight for Martinez.

So Pacquiao would be taking on Martinez at his best weight.

Pacquiao will also giving away over a stone to Martinez in ring weight and will come in under the weight limit.

Pacquiao should get maximum credit, for fighting an elite fighter who has been avoided by the likes of Mayweather and others.

Hope it happens and Martinez won't back track about saying he can make 150lbs now.

Because it's clear that Martinez is just fishing for a BIG PAY DAY, Martinez just wants money, everyone else is taking big money fights and like Pac with no risk.

Martinez won't be really comfortable at 154.
