Actually your right and your wrong, that is at the discression of the referee, However according to the WBC rules, if a fighter intentionally butts another fighter and an injury or cut happens, the referee is supposed to take 2 points not 1

All the rules are at the discretion of the ref dip wad, that is why you touting the rule book is such a farce. That is also why you are suppose to defend yourself in case, so there is no one at fault but Ortiz.

        Quit searching.

im guessin ur the baldy wit the unibrow

A good number or whites CAN'T STAND THE FACT that this Black man (Mayweather) owns himself, his own promotion company, fights when and who he wants to fight and doesn't allow you (white people) to control him? Can You Really Deny This Fact?....It pisses you off that he is in a position of Control like no other Black boxer to do what he wants and say what he wants to YOUR face and you cant do a thing about it... You wish he was the three D's, Desperate, in Debt, and Defeated

You might have a point there. Definitely was a trick.

But saying that, its not going to make the slightest bit of difference, its Floyd we're talking about, no-one is going to overrule Cortez here, even if he is the simpleton of the year.

Do you know how to read? Nevada allowed Floyd to win this fight illegally, they allowed Floyd to win over Judah illegally when that should have been a DQ there is a pattern here for the fighter who lives and fights out of their state.

They are not enforcing their own rules, and what Floyd did, you take that and look at that list of fouls there and you can clearly see thats a violation of the rules.
The ref and the NSAC are corrupt and they need to be exposed for it I honestly think its time to just ban all of proffessional boxing, when the very state who is supposed to set the highest standard in the sport who is supposed to lead the commissions around the nation and the world, when they start allowing things like this to happen its time to put this sport to an end.

Floyd could have hit him before the embrace, he chose not to, he baited this kid in, to ensure he was totally unsuspecting and defensless and nailed him, exactly what we see in your gifs, its clearly a foul according to Nevada...
                    Good Morning everybody

                    http://www.leg.state.nv.us/nac/NAC-467.html

NAC 467.675 Acts constituting fouls in boxing. (NRS 467.030) The following acts constitute fouls in boxing:

                    1. Hitting below the belt.

                    2. Hitting an opponent who is down or is getting up after being down.

                    3. Holding an opponent with one hand and hitting with the other.

                    4. Holding or deliberately maintaining a clinch.

                    5. Wrestling or kicking.

                    6. If the referee has signaled that the opponent has been knocked out, striking an opponent who is helpless as a result of previous blows and so supported by the ropes that he does not fall.

                    7. Butting with the head or shoulder or using the knee.

                    8. Hitting with the open glove, the butt of the hand, the wrist or the elbow, and all backhand blows.

                    9. Purposely going down without being hit.

                    10. Striking deliberately at that part of the body over the kidneys.

                    11. Deliberately using the rabbit punch.

                    12. Jabbing the opponent’s eyes with the thumb of the glove.

                    13. Using abusive language in the ring.

                    14. Engaging in any unsportsmanlike trick or action which causes injury to an opponent.

                    15. Hitting on the break.

                    16. Hitting after the bell has sounded the end of the period of unarmed combat.

                    17. Hitting an opponent whose head is between and outside of the ropes.

                    18. Pushing an opponent about the ring or into the ropes.
This is just an attempt to delegitimize a valid win.

Once the ref said "Let's go", Floyd could have hit him during the approach. Instead, he let him hug him, kiss him, and apologize several times before engaging Ortiz.

Don't count yourself among "true fans" when true fans know that boxers touch gloves and swing ALL OF THE TIME.

The worst of all of this is that Ortiz had already apologized several times and Floyd had already accepted Ortiz' apology by touching gloves.

How many times was Floyd supposed to embrace and touch gloves?

                    I've said it before:

Boxing should implement a new rule that says that boxers are allowed to only touch gloves once and then be immediately ready to box and defend.

Its ****** to criticize Floyd for not wanting to continue in some ceremony of apologies while in the middle of a world title match.

The fact that NSAC ruled that it was legal and legit yet some fans are still reeling from not Ortiz defeat but Mayweather's victory shows that they are emotional females.
